Our Story

Thalia’s journey began in the heart of St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, a region known for its lush landscapes and vibrant agriculture. Here, our founder, a passionate food chemist, grew up enjoying delicious Jamaican meals. However, like many, she was often interrupted by the harsh bite of whole pimento (allspice) berries in her food.

Inspired by an idea from her father, she determined to make the bold, unique flavor of Jamaican pimento more accessible and enjoyable and created a solution by infusing the essence of pimento directly into high-quality oils.

At Thalia’s, our goal is simple: to make it easy for people from all cultures—whether Jamaican, Latino, Asian, or beyond—to enjoy the unmistakable taste of Jamaican spices in their everyday cooking.
